Current Status
Well, bags are selling much more frequently then I had ever imagined – even more so than my previous post on them. Yesterday alone I sold 80, and had actually run out of listed auctions over night so potentially could have sold more. As such today I’m keeping 60 of them on the Auction House overnight!

I also got Inscription to 450 on my DK, and then using some addons (Which I will discuss next week) I made 5 of every glyph I could and am in the process of ‘goblining’ the market of them all.

This did cause a massive hit to my gold (about 4-5k) but at least I’m in the market now, and all of that and more will be made up when these glyphs all sell. Snowfall Ink is selling so well that glyphs are ‘essentially free’, as I am making up more than the cost of the herbs from the Snowfall Ink alone.

Unfortunately I don’t have time now to do today’s post on MMO-Champion’s guides. In saying that, they have been talked about to death already and are old news. Maybe in the future the post can be taken from a different angle, such as talking about us WoW Economy bloggers posting our ‘guides’, thoughts and ideas.

There’s also some site modifications under way, so you might notice a few changes!

Whopse I forgot to post my progress last night. Well almost all of my time yesterday was spent on the Crafting Spreadsheet and I did not manage to get my two levels yesterday on the paladin due to someone corpse camping me.

Yay for level 80 death knights in greens – Every single gank/corpse camp I’ve had so far was a DK who vastly out leveled me.

Still not one to complain too much, I spent my time on JC/DE via prospecting Saronite Ore and Cobalt Ore and making in to rings to disenchant. As I’m still very new to the whole market, I think I sold myself short selling Infinite Dust on a Tuesday night, what with raid resets / arena points being given out today (Wednesday) so the prices will probably end up being higher later on.

With any luck I’ll be able to make another post later this evening, although just in case I can’t I will be away from tomorrow (Thursday) till most likely Saturday. With any luck there will be a computer for me to write some quick posts on, but there won’t be any ‘solid’ posts until Sunday.

Talking of solid posts, I’ve begun work on a quick video to show how to properly use the Crafting Spreadsheet. It is scary just how long these videos actually take to make, creating them takes at least 2 hours each!

Anyway, I’ll do a quick post again in a bit about the Crafting Spreadsheet, as I am really trying to plug it and get people using it.

If any blogger out there makes a post about it, and links back to either the next post or the Crafting Spreadsheet page then I’ll do a review of your site during next week’s posts. This will most likely be as an additional post to the daily post, depending on how many of you jump on the chance!

Well as promised here is my post on “The Challenge” I am setting myself.

This challenge is to reach level 80 on my paladin main before the 1st of October, the night of the 30th. That gives me exactly 7 days from today (the 23rd of September).

My current level is 68, which means to achieve my goal on time it will require getting 1.7~ levels per day. Going to call this 2 however, so that there’s a buffer in case anything comes up!

While this isn’t exactly a small task, it isn’t impossible either. Truth be told if I played 15 hours a day I could easily do it in half the time, and being self employed it is possible – yet money needs to be made too!

Still, patch 3.2.2 hit today/now and so the servers are down, fingers crossed there will be no server issues and doing my 2 levels tomorrow shouldn’t be a problem.

Well as mentioned yesterday, I have a whole host of bankers on my new server. As soon as I started making money from mining on my paladin money started going towards bags for bank alts.

Here is a full breakdown of my characters on this new server

Each now has full 16 slot bags in all 4 slots and a small amount of gold for mailing. In hindsight my splurge on bags for bank alts has slowed down my money making potential – I should have taken more advantage of using the mail box for storage.

This is my non-existant OCD tendencies kicking in and making me sort exactly where everything goes at all time. Is this overkill to most people?!

Rather than tell you the backstory of my WoW history (most of which would have little to no relevance on a WoW economy blog) instead I’ll let you in on where things stand right now.

Having just started on a new server a couple of weeks ago I lack things a lot of players take for granted. No character above level 60, no surplus of gold, no high level professions.


So what do I have?

Well, I have my main – who is nearly level 60. She has 275~ mining and is going to learn JC. She is the character currently being leveled.

A 58 dk, which will have Herb/Inscription but currently has neither – and is the next character to be leveled after the paladin and when I have heirloom items (see below).

A level 80 warrior – Sarainy -  waiting to be faction+server transfered once it becomes available in the EU. She already has 450/450 enchanting with all recipes outside of Ulduar known. I will also level tailoring on her once she has transfered.

Sarainy, will be my primary auction house character and is my ‘persona’ for my online presence and this blog.
