Wow grats!
I’ll check it out when I get home. :)
Gz Sarainy,
I still need to listen to it when I get home though.
Goddamn it though, I thought I was the only gold podcaster and now there are 3! Ooh well, more podcasts more joy and less beer ^^
Grtz

Seth´s last blog ..Inscription: just mill!
Nicely done, looking forward to the next one :)
Hulan´s last blog ..What Goes Around, Comes Around
Just started listening to this – seems like you have segregated each mic per channel (left is Sarainy, right is LeDree) – I thought there was a problem because I tend to listen with one ear at work and didn’t hear LeDree at all :)
I liked it. I got to agree about the voices coming strictly from left/right. It made it easier to seperate you two, but it gets pretty weird when listening in headphones.
Very nice content though! Looking forward to another one :).
Oh my God you have a podcast :p
I have to say, that was pretty awesome and unexpected!
Pros:
– Fantastic content (useful, relevant, interesting, range of topics)
– Clear speech / audio, and easy to hear you
– I inferred that you were to be having a range of guests, which is always good
– Everything not listed as a Con
Cons:
– More introduction needed at the start; aside from a quick ‘Welcome to the AH-Whoring podcast’ it could have been anyone’s podcast
– Who’s LeDree? Introduction needed again
– Monthly is not regular enough!
– Not on iTunes (but then, it is only the first one, so something for the future)
All in all, I loved it, well done. Keep it coming!

Veliaf´s last blog ..Microsoft drops epic loot
I really enjoyed the podcast and loved the commentary. I really hope this becomes a regular, major feature of your blog :)
My only complaint at all was the segregated channels. The left/right thing was bogus. I used Foobar2000 DSP to force Stereo to Mono but I didn’t have that capability on my iPod so I had to wait to listen to the podcast for quite a bit :( (yes, it bothered me that much)
Thank you all for the great feedback! It is really reassuring to hear such great things said about it!
As for the segregated channels, it appears to be more a problem than a convenience and as such will not be used in future podcasts. Making it difficult or annoying to listen to is definitely not going to help.
@Seth : More is better! It would be good to maybe do some collaborative effort on a podcast, if you are interested? Will email you about it :)
@Veliaf : Thank you for a nice breakdown of your pros/cons! As for it not being on iTunes, there was a delay while they approved it unfortunately – it is definitely up there now :)
Hey just wanted to add that the podcast was awesome! I threw is on my iphone and listened to it on my way home and I was extremely impressed. Ofcourse only con was the segregated channels only cause it would be louder hearing 1 person through speak ear pieces other than that a fantastic job. I do hope this could be a bi-week thing though as the market and wow itself is ever changing but I agree you wouldn’t want to fill the podcast up with the same material. Keep up the excellent work!
Glad you liked it Jusso!
I am guessing that by bi-weekly you mean every other neek, not twice a week!? If so, it would be something I’d consider in the future :)
Exactly – Every other week. As twice a week would be very difficult to maintain new material.
just finished listening to your first podcast and wanted to say good on you for attempting something i dont doubt is a real challenge. I found the podcast interesting and even as a seasoned ah’er there were still a couple of tips i picked up on that i hadn’t considered before. Agree with the comments about the left/right headphone channels, i listen on my ipod on the way to work and found that a little odd but all in all i was impressed with your general knowledge and am looking forward to more. Keep up the good work i genuinely wish you well.
Thanks 8-)
