Craft and Never Run out of Space

closeThis post was published 9 months 27 days ago which may make it out of date. This does not mean the information is wrong, or useless - it is a warning just in case!

This is a hastily put together video on how to create an unlimited amount of items without worrying about running out of space.

I remember before I discovered this how annoying it was to need to create 200 JC rings and so have to stop 2 or 3 times to mail them all before there was any room to craft more. Yet this very easy technique allows you to chain craft items, as many as you want, without ever running out of space again.

All it requires is Quick Auctions 2, an alt, and at least one empty space before you start.

love it. love it. love it

I also use bulk-mail2 for the automatic sending of cloth to my tailor.
Maybe you want to take a look at it.

Thanks for this video. I’m a new user of QA and haven’t gone poking around in it to find all the tricks yet. This tip will come in very handy as I am making all the netherweave bags which are sitting, in cloth form, in my bank.

I’m also looking at your spreadsheet. So that’s another set of eyes. :)

No problem at all :) Glad to have another person checking over the spreadsheet too!

A bit offtopic, but it’s a good idea to keep a lot of your cloth premade in to bolts if you need the space. While it is good to keep a stockpile of raw cloth (For unloading on the AH if it becomes more profitable than bags) the space saved from turning it in to bolts is quite considerable.

      Thank you again!

Thank you very much for showing how this works! This makes it possible to keep grinding for crafted stuff while doing something else, taking away the need to sit by the computer.

    Almost feels like cheating, definitely…

    C out

I tried this today and recieved a LUA error. I’m already using an addon called Postal which may conflict. Its not as automatic, I have to alt click items to attach them to a mail, but its a step better than the default UI.

    • Sarainy says:

Hm, I use Postal too and have no LUA errors. Maybe the conflict lies elsewhere?

Just to avoid people thinking this no longer works – it does still work as of 3.2.3
